How TaxCal Works
TaxCal operates entirely in your web browser using client-side JavaScript. When you enter your salary or business information:
- All calculations are performed locally on your device
- No data is sent to our servers
- Results are displayed instantly without any data transmission
- When you close or refresh the page, all data is cleared
Analytics and Cookies
We use minimal analytics (Vercel Analytics) to understand general usage patterns such as:
- • Number of visitors to the site
- • Which pages are most popular
- • General geographic regions (country level only)
- • Browser and device types
These analytics are anonymized and cannot be traced back to individual users. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.
Third-Party Services
TaxCal is hosted on Vercel. While they may collect standard server logs (IP addresses, timestamps), they do not have access to any tax calculations or personal information you enter on the site.
Your Rights
Since we don't collect personal data, there is no data to access, modify, or delete. You have complete control over your information because it never leaves your device.
